Journal of Information Systems and Technology Management

The Journal of Technology Management and Information Systems (JISTEM) is an open access electronic journal published quarterly. It was created in 2004 with the purpose of connecting academics and professionals in Information Technology Management.

This gap concerns the publication of scientific articles produced by researchers and professionals involved in both the academic and professional world. This provides a broad perspective and enables to contribute to the field of knowledge and to society.

JISTEM contributes to increase the publication of scientific articles, mainly empirical case studies, exploratory studies, among others. Our editorial focuses on matters realted to information technology from the standpoint of the manager, user or specialist on the subject. 

Each issue of the JISTEM seeks to highlight a particular subject, additional of the usual sections of the journal. A prerogative for us is in the quality of the texts and methodological framework, which is clearly specified to the author.
The Editorial Board selects the articles submitted for assessment and publication. The articles must be original for the publication in JISTEM.

The JISTEM can be found in index such as LATINDEX, ULRICH's e DOAJ. Since 2008 it is also included in Ebsco, Dianet, Gale, Infortrac e SEER. JISTEM is also registred in the gateway of CAPES, Dedalus, Google Academics, in the ranking of ACPHIS and SciELO, leader between open access scientific information gateways.
